The school buildings were purpose built as separate Infant and Junior Schools. In 1985 the two schools were amalgamated to form the present Primary school, and currently we have 420 pupils. The School is currently being extended and the 2 buildings will be linked together by the new build from September 2014. The school is funded through a delegated budget. There are extensive grounds with large playing fields and three playgrounds, set in a rural location adjoining a pocket park. We share our school with numerous squirrels, birds and at times nesting ducks! We are also very fortunate that we have access to the spinney next door to our school which we use for Forest School activities, science investigations and cross-country running.
