Complaints have been received concerning parked vehicles causing both a danger and an obstruction to residents other road users and pedestrians in the area of Barton Seagrave School.
PLEASE DO NOT park your vehicles where it would cause any inconvenience, endangerment or obstruction to anyone else including obstruction of driveways and dropped kerbs.
IT IS AN OFFENCE TO PARK:
(unless in an authorised parking space)
Please do not park either partially or wholly on the pavement…this can cause an obstruction for pedestrians, prams/pushchairs and wheelchair users, as well as damaging the grass verge.
Officers will be patrolling in this area and vehicle registration numbers will be taken.
Parking tickets may be issued.
Standard parking/obstruction offences incur a £50 fine.
Parking on zig-zag lines incurs a £100 fine and 3 penalty points.
